The launch of Volvo’s all new V40 was our opportunity to build something that was as innovative and exciting as the car itself.

The audience of Volvo dealers gathered in a Melbourne Warehouse were treated to a spectacular reveal sequence built from a combination of animation, 3D modelling, and projection mapping (visuals projected directly onto the car). The wizardry behind the scenes included custom set construction to raise the car on a platform and set it against a curved background, which when combined with pixel perfect projection, brought the car to life.

All of the production was built inhouse at CMS Australia’s new 2000 sqm facility at Wantirna in Melbourne’s leafy eastern suburbs.
